CITING WATCHMEN (2016 MLA STYLE)

When working with a graphic novel that collects a series of issues under one cover, treat the works cited entry as you would a regular book with two authors, listing the writer first and then the artist:

Moore, Alan and Dave Gibbons. Watchmen. 1986. DC Comics, 1995.

Note that this is for the 1995 edition of the graphic novel collection of a comic book series originally published in 1986.  Given how short this entry is, a hanging indent will probably not be needed.

For the parenthetical citation of the collected edition, put the authors, followed by ch. and p. for chapter and page: (Moore and Gibbons ch. 4 p. 23).
