PAPER #2: PEER REVIEW

Please read and mark up your partner's paper for potential problems and to provide positive feedback. Then write a note that does the following:

1. Identify the teacher under discussion by name and indicate what details are the most effective in describing the teacher and their behavior.

2. Clearly identify if the writer is using Freire as the basis for a critique of the teacher's methodology or if the writer is using the teacher as a way to critique Freire's theory. Explain why you believe that is the case.

3. Is the teacher being identified as a banker, a problem-poser, or a blend of the two?

4. Are there places where the writer fails to link a specific behavior by the teacher to a quote from Freire? Identify any place where that is a problem and then suggest a quote.

5. Is the author correctly using a signal phrase, giving the quote, then a citation, and then discussing the quote?

6. Close with at least one positive observation about the paper and some suggestions for a revision.
