RESEARCH PAPER: FORMAL OUTLINE

A formal outline can help writers to organize their thoughts before undertaking writing a more complicated paper. Using the model below, write a formal outline of your paper that outlines your topic, thesis, main points for your introduction, body paragraphs with a single topic and supporting points with evidence, and a conclusion.It should follow this model and use the elements of a traditional MLA paper (page numbering, information block and title), but it should be single-spaced.

Topice: Give one sentnece about what your paper is about.

Thesis: give one sentence that indicates what your specific argument about your topic actually is. It should clearly indicate what you want your audience to believe about your topic.
