TWO-MINUTE PRESENTATIONS
Each of you will need to be prepared to explain your research project to the class in the form of a two-minute presentation. Here's what you need to accomplish in two minutes:
1. Introduce the subject of your research.
- Identify the educational problem or historical issue
- Provide a brief background on your subject
2. Brief background of subject
- For educational problems, make sure the solution you have in mind is clear.
- For historical issues, make sure the dominant narrative schools tell about that historical issue is clear, what has been left out or ignored, and why its important to share new information about the historical issue.
- Provide the relevant details that will allow the audience to understand what the various issues are about your topic.
- Don't tell us everything: give us the highlights.
