PAPER #2: PEER REVIEW

Working with your assigned partners, make sure that each of you is reading a different paper. Read and mark the paper in MS Word using the Insert Comments feature in either the INSERT menu or the REVIEW pane. Comment on potential errors, particularly strong sections, and areas that were confusing or funny.

Then write a note at the end of the paper in a different font that addresses the following:

• Is the paper a discussion of Freire that uses a teacher as an example or a discussion of the teacher using Freirean terms?
• Restate the thesis of the paper as clearly as possible and comment on if the paper supports it or not?
• Does each quote have the four parts required? (Signal phrase, quote, citaiton, discussion)
• Which quotes work well? Which ones don't make much sense when paired with the claim the author is trying to use the quote to justify?
• What suggestions do you have for your partner to improve the final draft?

Sign your note at the end and post it as a reply to the author's original post. Take time to talk to your partner as well.
