PAPER #3 CHECKLIST

PART 1: Please read and sign the following:

On my honor, I have not taken the words or ideas of any person, on-line resource, printed text, or other source without properly labeling those words or ideas and giving the proper citation. This paper is a non-recycled, new paper written specifically for Dr. Halbert's Spring 2014 English 101 course. I have never handed this paper in for credit before.

PART II: Make sure your paper uses the INSERT-->BREAK-->Page Break to set up your works cited page. Any paper without a works cited page in the document (that looks like the model in the sample MLA Paper in your handbook) will get a zero.

After that, use another page break and write a paragraph in which you discuss the following: what are you most pleased about with the paper, what were the challenges about doing research, what was difficult about using research in writing a paper, and what would you do differently in the future on a research paper?

Then insert one more page break and write a final paragraph about what you've learned about writing: what works for you to produce your best writing? Describe the ideal way for you to write a paper and how you might make that a reality in the future.

When you are done, you should have at least five pages of paper, at least one page of works cited, a page about your paper, and a page about your writing process in one file.

PART III: Submit your final draft to the Dropbox for Paper #3 by Noon on Friday, May 2, 2014. No need to copy and paste this time: simply upload the file. Please name the file using the following model: LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME_ENG101_2.doc (example: Halbert_Hal_101_p3.doc). This upload is expected by the start of class.

I understand I must submit an electronic copy of the paper using the file name convention listed above by the appointed time and date. This file must match the paper copy exactly as it will be the copy that is actually graded.
