    • Read the academic article, "The Path Not Taken: Cultural Identity in the Interesting Life of Olaudah Equiano" (Available in Course Materials)
    • Follow the instructions for the Scholarly Article Analysis Project in the Assignments section of the class web page. Remember to download the MS Word template from the link in the instructions and to post it to the "Scholarly Article Analysis Project" dropbox. Make sure the file you upload is an MS Word file: you may have to "Save as" or "Export" the file to MS Word format if you use Google Docs, Pages, or Open Office. Do not post a link to your paper: submit the actual file.
    • This assignment will give you a model of how to write a literary analysis for your own upcoming papers.
